Notes on Wells' The War in the Air

This was one of the orginal twelve titles published in the series. It's unusual in that the first printings did not have the the C1 catalog at the front of the book. The first two printing -- both in 1917 -- carried the long title "THE WAR IN THE AIR | AND PARTICULARLY HOW MR. BERT | SMALLWAYS FARED WHILE IT LASTED."
