Notes on Brown's House With Green Shutters A first edition copy has been reported by Bill Hornick having a bound-in page before the full-title page. The front of it is blank but the back of it is printed as follows: The Modern Library, Inc. takes pleasure in presenting this edition of "The House with Green Shutters" to the delegates to the American Booksellers' Convention, and their guests, at the banquet at the Hotel Commodore, New York, on May 12, 1927.
