The first edition of Beerbohm's Zuleika Dobson has an erratum tipped in opposite the copyright page stating "Francis Hackett's introduction was received too late to include in this edition. Any one desiring to exchange this volume for a later edition containing this introduction should send his name to the publishers."

This title originally was discontinued around 1922 or shortly thereafter. The reprint contract was probably canceled so Dodd, Mead & Co. would have the market to itself for its own printing (also with the Hackett introduction) which appeared around 1924. Cerf and Klopfer were able to secure a new reprint contract and restored Zuleika Dobson to the series in 1926 (as ML 116). It then remained continuously in the series from 1926 to 1970.

Toledano gives this title the number 116.2—but there is no number 116.1! As a nod to legacy and to avoid confusion, ModernLib has preserved the number.
