Notes on Beebe's Jungle Peace Beebe's Jungle Peace was the first title published under the Modern Library Inc. imprint. It was published in September 1925 with Brodzky end papers because the newly commissioned Bernhard end papers weren't ready yet. The second printing in December of that year retained the first edition slug but had the new Bernhard end papers plus a six page catalog at the back.
