Notes on Snow's Red Star Over China

The first edition of Snow's Red Star Over China has no first edition statement. But the layout and typography of the title page of the first (1944) is unique:

There were six ML printings with total sales of just over 27,000 copies. The title was discontinued at the end of 1952.
