Modern Library in Print Media (continued)

1921 - 1924

1921 - The ad on the right offers a Modern Library volume as a bonus for subscribing to The Outlook magazine. The October ad on the left shows the price has climbed again - to 95 cents. It stayed there until 1947. Hoo-rah.

1922 - Horace Liveright himself wrote the "article/advertisement" on the top left touting the series.

1924 - Ads specifically featuring ML books were hard to come by in 1924; most tauted the whole B&L line giving little attention to the ML. (I couldn't find anything useful for 1925, the year that B&L sold the ML line to Cerf & Klopfer.)
