If anyone can find a flaw in this modification, please let me know. "European Philosophers from Descartes to Nietzsche" (G16.2) is, I believe, a spring 1960 title (replacing Wolfe/Look Homeward, Angel). In the current dating key, that season indicates no new titles. I've seen spring 1960 lists with G16.2 (European...), and without G38 (Tale of Genji). Fall 1959 lists (and earlier) have G16.1 (Look...). The following changes are being proposed to the key.
