Its spine is style #12 which was apparently in use during 1967. But the price, $1.95, was only in use 1960-65. Does this mean a mismatch of book and DJ? And also, is there a way to easily access Neavill's bibliographic study of ML? Usually only the start date for a price can be counted on (mostly); when the first time a price showed up in a catalog or on a jacket with an accurate book catalog. Prices tended to persist causing overlaps. Either a price was intentionally left at the lower value when new releases were increased, or the jacket was never updated with the new price, or whatever. Sometimes stickers were placed over the original jacket price, as an easy way to increase the price. I believe $1.95 was valid well into 1967, and brochures from that year appear to have some titles at that price: http://modernlib.com/General/catalogPrices.htm Good question.
