| Thread Name: Intro to St. Thomas Aquinas #259 From: vciviletti at verizon.net (Vincent Civiletti) Date: Wed, 28 Dec 2011 21:20:29 -0500 (Eastern Standard Time) I have 2 copies of "Introduction to St. Thomas Aquinas" #259, both are #8 binding and have a yellow dust jacket, style i. The inverse of each has the list of titles but neither have the number of the titles stated. Did this book come with a yellow dust jacket with the number of titles stated in the heading? V. Civiletti ------------------------------------- From: willthemad at aol.com (Bill Hornick) Date: Wed, 28 Dec 2011 22:43:10 -0500 (EST) My binding #8 Of Aquinas has the greyish green dust jacket with 403 titles listed, putting it at 1962; my binding #11 has the yellow dust jacket with a list of titles but no number. Perhaps you have a dust jacket mismatch but the yellow dj appeared in 1963, the last year of binding #8. 1963 saw bindings 8, 9,10 and 11. Since the title is currently reported to exist in only bindings #8, #9 and #11, it is logical that any of them could have the yellow jacket without the number. ------------------------------------- From: neavill at wayne.edu (Gordon Barrick Neavill) Date: Wed, 28 Dec 2011 22:50:17 -0500 (EST) I don't think so. The earliest yellow Aquinas jacket I've seen is?fall 1963, which was the last season lists of titles were printed inside ML jackets. The latest gray and red jacket I've seen has a fall 1961 list.
