ModernLib Privacy Policy

ModernLib does not sell, give away, make available, or display e-mail addresses of its users unless a member asks us explicitely to do so. Not ever.

We provide e-mail links to article authors who request that we do so, and to sponsors on the $100- and $50- contribution level when they request it.

The ModernLib membership list is displayed on the Membership Roster page wherein the names of subscribers are shown. If a member requests it, that member's name is not displayed.

ModernLib does not distribute its membership lists. Ever. When e-mails are sent to the general membership, addresses are hidden. Always.

ModernLib holds that a person's right to read what s/he wants when s/he wants is sacrosanct, and should be free from government interference or even questioning. The Managing Editor would sooner reformat his hard disk and purge the site from the servers rather than surrender information about the reading habits of ModernLib Members to anyone or to any government agency under any circumstances.

There are no exceptions.
